Welcome to LA Flag Football

If you are interested in the sport of flag football, then LA Flag Football is meant for you.  We are a 7-on-7  adult league that is open to all genders, sexual orientations, and skill levels.  We have a few more weekends of open play, also refereed to as “pick-up”, before play is closed to those registered for the 2012 season.  So if you are curious and want to see what things are about, then come join us out there on the field and see for yourself.

Where: We play at Helen Bernstein High School in Hollywood (Sunset Blvd. exit off the 101 fwy, directly across the street from Denny’s).

When: We play on Saturdays from 11am til 2pm.

What to bring:

  • Both a white and dark shirt (not grey)
  • Wear shorts with no pockets (for safety reasons)
  • Wear cleats or turf shoes (too slick for sneakers)
  • Water or sports drink
  • Sunscreen (if you easily burn)
  • $5 to help pay for field/insurance costs

Here are the pickup dates for the coming weeks:

Jan.14: Off
Jan. 21: Bernstein
Jan. 28: Duel in the Desert, Palm Springs

Details: Saturday, 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Bernstein High in Hollywood. Address: 1309 N Wilton Place, 90028. Right where the 101 Freeway meets Sunset, next to the Home Depot. Street parking available (field entrance is on the side street directly across Sunset from Dennys).

Please bring:

–A dark AND a white shirt since we split up into teams.
–$5 for field fees
–Water
–Cleats if you have them.

Duel in the Desert: A heads up that the 3rd annual Duel in the Desert Flag Football tournament will be held in Palm Springs, Saturday January 28, 2012.

It’s basically multicity pickup. Players from LA, SD, Phoenix and others are mixed together to form unique teams. You are ensured three games and then there are socal events after.

The registration fee will be $25 per person. This tournament is limited to the first 90 people. More info will follow, but it’s a great event and open to all.
